🔧 How to set up the activity: Half a pitch with 2 wide channels marked One deep switcher in each wide channel and one more advanced receiver 3 attackers and 3 defenders inside the box Goalkeeper in the goal ⚽ Activity: Ball starts with one of the deep switchers The switcher plays a cross-field pass to the opposite wide receiver The receiver controls the ball and then crosses into the box When the ball is crossed the attackers in the box attempt to score & the defenders try to clear the ball After the play is over the opposite switcher then starts the next turn Progression: Move into a 6v6 game where teams score points by scoring in the goals or switching the play between wide zones ✅ Coaching points: Recognise when overload is blocked Switch with quality and speed Players must move to support switch
