🔧 How to set up the activity: 12x12 yard squares marked with cones A gate on three sides of the square 1 ball per pair One attacker, one defender in each square ⚽️ Activity: Attacker starts with back to defender shielding the ball Attacker must ‘push off’ and break out of the square through any gate Defender tries to prevent the push off and win the ball Rotate roles every 60 seconds Progression: Take away 2 gates to make it harder for the attacker to escape ✅ Coaching points: Keep knees bent and body low to absorb pressure Use arm and upper body to create separation on push off First touch out of turn should be purposeful and forward
