🔧 How to set up the activity: Set up 1 passing gate per pair (2-yards wide) using cones Players work in pairs, 1 ball per pair Players face each other on opposite side of the gate 🏃 Activity: Players pass the ball through the gate to their partner Receiver controls and passes back through the gate Score a point for each successful pass without hitting the cones Progress: make the gates narrower or make the pairs stand further apart to increase challenge Challenge: start the cones 3 yards apart. Every time the pair complete 5 successful passes they move the cones 1 yard closer together, if they hit a cone they start again 3 yards apart. See which pair can get the cones to 1 yard apart first. ✅ Coaching points: Line up the pass with a steady standing foot next to the ball Use controlled power – don’t rush the technique Look up before passing, then focus on the ball when striking
