🔧 How to set up the activity: 12x12 yard area with a mini goal at one end. Coach has ball, player starts in middle. ⚽ Activity: Coach dribbles toward goal from different angles. Player decides to engage (tackle) or delay (hold shape). Add cue: coach yells “go” for engage, or stays silent for delay. Progress by mixing in feints and quick changes from coach. 4–5 rounds. ✅ Coaching points: Judge distance – don’t overcommit too early. Body angle should guide attacker away if delaying. Time your step in when pressing – don’t dive in.
