Share
🔧 How to set up the activity:
- Half a pitch with goals and goal keepers and both ends
- Delegate 4 teams of 3
- All teams rotate between attacking and defending
- 2 teams start on the pitch and the other 2 start behind either goal
⚽️ Activity:
- One team starts with the ball and tries to score 3v3
- The defending team aim to prevent a goal
- Once the attacking team score or the ball goes out of play the attacking team become defenders and the team from behind the goal they have just attacked set off as the new attacking team
- The previous defending team take their place behind the goal
- Teams attack end to end, and the cycle continues
- Rotate teams every few minutes
- Teams score points for counter prevention or counter goals
✅ Coaching points:
- First defender slows play, others recover centrally
- Communication between lines is key
- Delay the break long enough for shape to recover
