🔧 How to set up the activity: Two cones 20 yards apart, one ball at start cone. Player starts behind coach. ⚽ Activity: Coach dribbles ball away at pace. Player sprints to catch up and “win the race” before cone. Rotate: coach varies speed or fakes stop/start. Add ball for player to sprint with in later rounds. 4–5 reps per side, short rests between. ✅ Coaching points: Explode off first step – no jog start. Pump arms to drive sprint. Sprint through the ball, don’t slow early.
