A pole at opposite ends of the square ⚽ Activity: Coach dribbles slowly toward player aiming to beat them and touch the pole Player alternates between block tackle (front-on) and poke tackle (side-on reach). If the coach touches the pole they turn and play towards the opposite pole Increase speed and realism as technique improves. End each rep by player winning ball and dribbling out of the square. ✅ Coaching points: Stay low and balanced before committing. Time block tackle when ball is slightly away from foot. Use front foot for poke tackle with a quick “jab.”
