🔧 How to set up the activity: Set up wide delivery boxes on each side of the pitch Place a free kick taker in each box 4 attackers and 5 defenders can defend as they see fit inside the box A goalkeeper in the goal ⚽️ Activity: Free kick takers deliver free kicks from the wide boxes – vary the free kick locations within the box each time Defending team set up to defend the free kick, this may include a wall Attacking team attempts to score from the free kick delivery Defenders aim to clear the ball from the box Roate deliveries between the 2 wide takers Competition: Attackers score 1 point for shot on goal and 3 for scoring. Defenders score a point each time they clear the ball out of the box ✅ Coaching points: Encourage defenders to have a wall if the free kick is close to the box Encourage plays to be switched on to rebounds off the wall or goalkeeper Provide attackers with different routine ideas
