🔧 How to set up the activity: Create a rectangle across the edge of the penalty box Place a free kick taker in the box 4 attackers and 5 defenders can defend as they see fit inside the box A goalkeeper in the goal ⚽️ Activity: The free kick taker either shoots or deliver free kicks – encourage the attacker to vary Free kick locations within the rectangle box change each time Defending team set up to defend the free kick including a wall Attacking team attempts to score from the free kick – whether that be directly, a delivery or a rebound Defenders aim to clear the ball from the box Competition: Attackers score 1 point for shot on goal and 3 for scoring. Defenders score a point each time they clear the ball out of the box ✅ Coaching points: Encourage defenders to communicate with the goalkeeper to decide how many players to have in a wall Encourage plays to be switched on to rebounds off the wall or goalkeeper Provide attackers with different routine ideas
