1v1 Finishing – Pressure Finish

🔧 How to set up the activity:

• Half-pitch with goal and GK
• Cones or mannequins placed 5 yards outside of the box
• Angled starting cones 10 yards from the edge of the penalty area (blue)
• Players in threes (attacker, defender, server)

⚽ Activity:

• Attacker makes run in behind mannequins from starting cone
• Server plays ball into attacker
• Defender starts behind attacker and recovers
• Attacker must shoot before defender catches them
• Rotate roles every 3 attempts

✅ Coaching points:

• Control the ball quickly and get head up
• Use body to hold off defender
• Shoot decisively before pressure comes
